In her late teen years, Roxanne was taught how to use heroin by her aunt. Once she had Roxanne hooked, her aunt told her she needed to earn money to buy it. She took Roxanne to the streets and taught her how to prostitute. Roxanne was only allowed to keep a portion for herself.
Roxanne has received mentoring help and has been welcomed into a healing, supportive community through CAST.
